JONATHAN ROBERTS,
FOUNDER

Jonathan founded RPrime in 2018 and RPrime Labs 2022.  Jonathan believes that Relationship is Primary, and that the irreducible element of positive change is intentional relationship.  RPrime seeks to use its technical platforms to help organizations who help people better serve their mission, initially in the Behavioral Health and Autism areas.

RPrime Labs is built around the genius of Rory Larson, who has been like a nephew to Jonathan.  Jonathan believes the Labs can help solve some of the world’s biggest problems in Climate, Energy, and Healthcare, and that the monetary gains from the Labs can support the broader mission of RPrime.

Prior to founding RPrime, Jonathan was a founder and partner at Ignition Partners.   Ignition focused its investments on enterprise software companies and led early-stage rounds for such companies as Splunk, Docusign, Avvo, and Cloudera. Jonathan led a number of these investments, most notably, Docusign.

Jonathan served on the Executive Committees for the University of Washington Foundation Board and the United Nations Association of America (UNA-USA).  He also served on the Epiphany and Applied Precision Learning School boards.   Currently, Jonathan serves on the board of the National Bureau of Asian Research (NBR) and the Stimson Center.  In addition, for the last ten years he has taught a weekly class on the works of C.S. Lewis at Epiphany Parish in Seattle.

Jonathan is a graduate from the University of Washington with an Honors degree in History. Jon also served as the Student Body President for the 1985 – 1986 term.
